with our beds, this 7” thick mattress
features a specially designed
honeycomb arrangement of the
cloth pocketed springs to prevent ‘bottoming
out’ (a problem with other bed makers), whilst the
springs in the head and foot section have a parallel
formation giving more gentle support to the head and lower legs.
WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION
No matter what your weight, shape or size, the mattress shapes itself to your body, supporting the hollow in the small of your back, whilst cradling the hips and shoulders to reduce pressure points.
UPHOLSTERY
The hundreds of springs are covered with layers of soft, resilient, non-allergenic polyester fibre and are then clothed in a hard-wearing damask ticking. The mattress is then tufted in the traditional manner, which ensures the generous quantities of filling remain in place throughout the long life of the mattress. Strong flag stitch handles are fitted for ease of turning.
